Tonight will be a special treat. Anne-Marie from UCSB MAT program will be bringing her amazing wearable Vacuole Robes and you get to try them. So, what's a Vacuole Robe*? Interactive full-body music instrument? Fashion? Exercise tool? Immersive straight jacket? Please come and try them on and help her define what you think they are. Later in the evening Jim will be showing G-Force, a primo visualizer app that syncs graphic to audio (better than anything else out there..except for Wesley, Lance and Graham's custom apps). So bring libations and join us at the Fishbon Pescadrome, 101 S. Quarantina St. in Santa Barbara. Info: 805-453-5246 or check out the blog at http://www.fishboneventlab.blogspot.com/

*More info: The Vacuole Robes" are named after the membranes that surround and protect a cell - here's a list of what a vacuole does: In general, vacuole functions include: Removing unwanted structural debris, isolating materials that might be harmful or a threat to the cell, containing waste products, maintaining internal hydrostatic pressure or turgor within the cell, maintaining an acidic internal pH, containing small molecules, exporting unwanted substances from the cell, enabling the cell to change shape."
